One of the "Surf Collection" from Drew Brophy, printed on museum quality Fine Art Canvas Print.
THE INSPIRATION BEHIND THIS PIECE: A few years ago Drew was painting "20 Paintings in 20 Days." This was one of those paintings. During that time, we had plans to camp at Joshua Tree National Park with our friends Kat and Justin. But, our plans were thwarted when there was a government shutdown; they closed the National parks. We were so disappointed.
Drew created this painting, showing what all the local furloughed government workers were doing to pass the time during the shut down; having a Beach Party! Originally the painting was titled "Furlough Day" and the buyer of the painting, Michelle from San Clemente, was a government worker who enjoyed her time off.
Beach Party is the perfect depiction of a fun day at the beach. Put this print on your wall, and the beach party doesn't end in August - it goes on all year round!
