A few simple steps lead to endless possibilities

I downloaded my digital copy of How to Draw by Drew Brophy. I stumbled across his work on Instagram and was immediately hooked. I couldn’t help but study everything about each piece. The overall style, the brilliant colors, and the fine details.
This book breaks down some of Drew’s work and style in simple, easy to follow steps. All while reminding the artist that they are free to add their own style to each piece as well.
I would recommend this to any artist, from beginner to seasoned veteran. Each section gives you an opportunity to draw pieces from Drew’s universe, and at the same time ideas will form on how to combine them together.
The digital copy is ideal in today’s world because the book is a few clicks away on your tablet or phone. At home relaxing? Study creating waves. On your lunch break at work? Sea creatures and all their vast possibilities. It’s with you at all times.
So what’re you waiting for? Pick it up and I would bet you won’t put it down. 10/10 would recommend!!!

This is really a great book. Drew breaks down individual drawings and then shows you how to combine them all into one large scene. Neat concept! The book is geared towards kids but I found it a great resource for experimenting with surf art and I'm 48. Well worth the money.
