Painting on Surfboard Commissioned by Drew

Product Description

Art collectors, musicians, casinos and corporations have commissioned Drew Brophy’s Surfboard Paintings.  They are masterpieces of both craftsmanship and surf art.  Each painting is tailored to the personal mission of the collector while Drew’s unique style captures their vision, into a masterpiece that WOWS.

The surfboard itself is shaped by master artisans.  Drew works with the best of the best:  Matt Biolos and Gerry Lopez.  Drew uses only the best materials and paint for these art pieces.  (Questions?  Contact 949-678-8133 or info@drewbrophy.com.)

A custom surfboard painting will greatly enhance the inside view of your home, den, or trade show booth.  (See  examples here:  drewbrophy.com/portfolio/surfboard-art and here:  http://drewbrophy.com/custom-art-board-examples/)

Drew is known as the surfboard artist of the influential and is credited as the artist who changed the way that surfboards were painted in the 1990's.  He's the best known surfboard artist in the world today.  Collectors of Drew's surfboard paintings include Google, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, Kid Rock, Eddie Vedder, Surfing Champion Mark Richards, Gerry Lopez, Halo 3 Creator Colm Nelson, The Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas, and thousands more.

Your surfboard painting commission will be on a surfboard sized up to 6'5" (You tell us what size you want).

Pricing for custom surfboards start at the price shown and go up depending on surfboard size and complexity of design.  The difference in price will be billed to you after all details are gathered.

The art will be painted for you, by Drew, using his favorite medium of Uni Posca paint pens and/or acrylics.

This is how Drew works with Commissions:

After you place your order and pay for it, please email details of what you want painted.  (Send to info@drewbrophy.com).

TIMING:  Depends on Drew's travel schedule and other projects that came before yours.  Since every surfboard is hand-made before Drew even begins painting it, a surfboard commission takes about 8-12 weeks.  (We can accommodate rush-requests for an additional fee of $500.00).

Once all of your information is received, Drew will work up a sketch and email it to you for your input or approval.  Your price includes up to 2 sets of sketch changes.  (Additional sketches are billed at $250 each).

But don't worry; Drew usually nails your vision on the first sketch.

Keep in mind:  Drew chooses to paint in his own style, and he won't duplicate (copy) anyone else's artwork.  But, he will take your desired theme and subject and apply his own "Brophy-style" spin to it.
